Might be better if the Germans win tonight. Could go into the Poland game within three points of them and a win would qualify us ahead of them through better head to head?
Wales will go 2nd in the world if they beat Israel on Sunday, Germany drop any points in their next 2 games against Poland and Scotland and Cyprus beat Belgium in Nicolas. 
An Eire win over who? Netherlands 2001 the last time they won a qualifying group tie against opposition seeded higher in the world rankings. That’s an appalling statistic. Just 3 points from 12 on that particular score in this campaign from two games against Scotland and one against Poland and Germany. Can’t see Eire winning in Poland or beating the nationalmannschaft world champions.
