I’d agree that was the one to kick. The second one they were as likely to score a try as nail the kick to be honest.

Any decent kicker would have fancied either of em I think

Eh, Leinster could also have opted for a scrum seeing as they had an extra player. The Northampton 6 was off for the second last penalty and their 5 was gone for the last one.

Can’t close out tight games ever since La Rogchelle and Munster in the URC exposed the mental frailties

The Munster URC game was because we fielded a very weak team. Most of our frontliners were rested ahead of the Champions Cup final the following weekend.

Decent Irish kickers scarce today? Crowley at least 1 awful conversion attempt last night

It’s not like your front liners have any better record in big games.

Gotta get there to lose them. You won’t remember.

In their defence on that the ref had shown no ability to ref the scrum at all while they had scored two tries off 5m taps.

I’d still have more of an issue with not kicking the first one than subsequent decisions

Anyway - it is what it is. Focus on the URC now

I see Jack Conan has thrown sammy p under the bus and admitted it was Prendergasts decision to go down the line and not take three points. It was Conans gut feeling to go for three points.

I Saw it pointed out that Ryan and ringrose were Leinsters vice captains but it appeared to be Conan making the calls with ringrose having no involvement in the decision making at the end.

Some shambles from the D4 men and nasty to blame their youngest player.

Link to that?

Around the thirty minute or so mark.

Astonishing at that level to make such a balls of everything.

I’ll give it a listen later. That’s an outrageous comment. Sums up Conan and probably reflects the loser mentality at Leinster.

Not really ideal to blame a young chap publicly but to then suggest your gut instinct was the correct one is pretty bad.

Could reflect internal opinions on the young buck. Perhaps a few of the more seasoned players are disgruntled with the unready chap being given so much clout and premature responsibility

Wtong way to address it but could be an insight on mood music

All blame needs to lie at the hands of Losin’ Leopold anyways, not some Newbridge rookie.

The non Dub was always going to be thrown under the bus ahead of any of the D4 set.
