I was absolutely certain last November that he is going to be the best Irish ten ever but am very circumspect now.
Can you be a top ten without being a running threat or able to tackle. He is probably the best passer and kicker there has ever been here at the age, it wouldnāt even be close.
The game last weekend, he goes to score in the corner one handed with his left hand, finger tips under a bit of pressure, he knocks on. Score and itās a deft move, but watching it back, it looked like he didnāt just fancy the contact.
Iāve heard (third hand) obviously, that teammates would expect him to be a bit braver physically.
Heās a kid. Way too early to judge in my books. He needs time.But itās not my books that count.
