European Super League Super Thread

The tournament itself sounds absolutely shite

I’d say you have two of them nailed there

It’s def happening anyway. Not a bluff. UEFA and the national leagues wouldn’t be in such a panic otherwise

German clubs bar Leipzig are controlled by their members, be hard to get any of them to join

UEFA need to get Dela back on board to smooth things out

Newcastle.

Hopefully everyone of them gets fucked out of their league

Maybe if they’d gotten that takeover through but they’ve missed the boat you’d reckon

It really highlights the pulling power, tradition and box office appeal of Tottenham Hotspur that we’ve managed to get invited into this thing despite a lean enough recent run of it on the trophy front. Not to mention the negotiating skills of Chairman Levy.

The boat is still in the dock

All up to the respective marketing dept’s from here

It was the stadium that got Spurs in. @BruidheanChaorthainn thought Spurs were bankrupt but Levy’s gone and mugged him off.

West ham must be in as well so

Have they named the stadium?

It’s the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

Rock of Gibraltar and the horsey set have a lot to answer for

The Daniel Levy Stadium I believe is the front runner.

Boris says NO

Have they not damaged their own negotiating position? Or do they even care?

Rival European Cups would be great craic. I suggest Liverpool string the other Super League clubs along and then pull out at the last minute, proceeding to win the next 10 real European Cups in a row.
