The worst thing that could happen him is a move to any big club now, particularly utd as there seems to be a rotten group there. Let him develop and play regular first team football for 2/3 seasons. Heās young and regular ball is best for him now. The expectations and pressure of big clubs can wait till heās 21 or so.
Tunnel vision though again. He should look beyond England.
For what reason?
Better quality of hookers?
Heās in the first team in a league with the best chance of earning coin, no language difficulties and a short hop home. But cowpat wants him to go to some diddy league for some culture
Heās playing in a top 6 or top 8 club in England already. England is where all the money is. Why would he leave?
Fair enough mate. You seem to have decided this. Id imagine with an ex footballer dad heāll make a decent decision if and when the time comes. Id imagine heāll stay at brighton for a good while .
Youāve upset the footix now with your looking beyond the EPL
Why not go to Belgium or Portugal and get cultured
The footix are only taking their cues from Sky Sports and the English media tabloids. Best league in the world etc. He will obviously earn money wherever he goes whether it be Italy, England, Spain, Germany etc.
Why shouldnāt he go to Germany for example? Itās in the EU, better run than England, and wealthy.
Are you finished or have you more to add?
Couldnāt afford him
Youāre going against your āwe should all emigrate to Spainā brow beating you were at a couple of months ago
I never said āweā you steamer.
Iād imagine a right mix of lads like Owen, Fowler, Rooney and then Francis Jeffers
If he got his head down and worked hard in Belgium he could get a big money move to someone like Brighton in a few years
The hipsters being hipsters - he should play in Germanyā¦ Be really cool.
For goals I would imagine you would have something like Owen x 2 or 3, Fowler x 2 or 3, Rooney x 2 or 3, Alan Smith, Anelka, Sterling, Lukaku.
All of the above would have scored in or around 10 goals in a single EPL season as teenagers, so he has a fair bit to go to get to that even, but has another season to achieve it.
At the other end of the scale Iād imagine the likes of Francis Jeffers would be your warning sign, or even Alan Smith, but he had very bad luck to be fair to him
Fox in the box
To think that lads here thought Ferguson was going to play for Englandā:grinning:
