Even more mayhem regarding Limerick

Is Hungry Lyons affiliated with Supermacs?

Jesus No.

He was a good sponsor of Na Piarsaigh underage when he was with Supermacs.
Grand fellow when I met him anyway.

Seems to be running a tight ship anyway

It’s the exact same grub? What’s the story there? Is supermacs grub completely generic? I assumed it was controlled centrally by McDonagh ala McDonald’s

It’s not the same, they’re using different suppliers now, the menu is quite similar, they have a lovely yoke called the Chippito which is basically taco fries in a wrap, not bad at all

It tastes the same and I have had the chipito, ideal hungover food

I would say it’s slightly nicer than supermacs. Still shite obviously. But its like supermacs on a good day

Saw a few classic townie habits. Auld lads stick in traffic in cars giving smart talk / ball hopping to auld lads out the car window on the footpath or crossing street etc.
“Well Tommy. Any tickets etc . Go way you bollox etc i’ll see you later etc”

Decent guy. I worked out in Ennis Road for a few years as a young lad. You wouldn’t see him much as he was usually in town when he owned that one. Myself and another lad one evening on our break decided we’d run across to the Davin Arms and absolutely swamp a pint. We ran back across the car park and John was pulling in. Not sure if he ever made the connection where we were coming from but he never said anything anyway

Sounds hilarious.

I got two free cinnamon buns from my bread man in the market this morning, he said that he was giving 1 to everybody who was wearing a Limerick jersey but he doubled down for me in the half zip.
