FA Cup 2018

Tremendous display from the bus.

Tottenham appear to have no right-sided player.

Vorm got lucky there

Wembley is a horrible dump .

I despise Man Utd but its always lovely to see Spurs do what they do best

Congrats mate, I’m guessing they lost?

That’s the history of the Totttenham.

Lamentable effort to equalise from them. They looked very disspirited. No fight in them.

They’re lucky they have a handy run-in in the league. Feels like they’ve come to a bit of a tipping point and the last couple of years might be as good as it gets for them.

Don’t think they did . They are an average enough side really . United have more money and probably have better players . I only got second half which was not great standard .

It’s been a great few years, I don’t think I’ll see it again in my lifetime anyway

Spurs are one of the richest clubs in Europe.

See what mate? They’ve played some good individual games but never got close to winning anything

Yet again Tottenham cough it up when it matters most. This result could do a lot of damage as the FA Cup was a very winnable competition for them.

Alderweireld is as good as out the gap. Eriksen will be seriously pursued, as will Kane. Danny Rose will be a goner too. The only consolation for them is that they’ll now more than likely keep Pochettino as clubs will be wary of his ability to get a team over the line.

United were very clinical and by far the better team bar the opening 20 minutes.

The relative consistency mate, no Spurs fan ever expects to win anything, an FA cup would have been a decent trophy but I wouldn’t have been deliberately staying in to watch it, it’s a tin pot in the grand scheme now. Leicester’s year was the one that got away, they won’t be challenging for the league anymore, Poch will go and they’ll be battling for top 6, as it should be

Typical England international.

Lads, it’s Tottenham.

Eriksen will be sought after but what clubs could Kane realistically move to? United, City and Liverpool are all well stocked for strikers, he isn’t good enough for the 2 who could afford him in Spain or PSG, he wouldn’t be sold to Arsenal so all you have really left is Chelsea who probably wouldn’t pay the money Levy would look for. I know some will say he was injured but his performance today was the frequent ineffectual effort against a big side. The good news for Spurs is another trophyless season means it’s less likely anyone will come in for Pochetino.

It’s rare that a post so long and containing so much information doesn’t have a single thing I’d agree with

As a Spurs fan, I’d agree with nearly everything @Halfpipe has to say there. The last line in his post, I’m undecided on. First half of it, he’s correct on, Pochettino won’t be going anywhere. Whether that’s good news for Spurs I’m undecided about. Said it here about three months ago, I’d take it or leave it as to whether he stayed or went.
