'Facing the Haka'
I got the impression that it was being piped through the stadium speakers, any atendees care to confirm?

Weepu leads a good haka, a serious maori.
As an atendee I would be 90% sure it was coming through the stadium speakers. If you listen on that clip you can sort of hear the delay at the begining.

Yeah, it was coming through the speakers, I can’t make them out in any of the photos I took on my phone, but there was definetly mics on the pitch in front of the teams

There was, there always is for the haka nowadays, its just not normally piped through the stadium speakers, serious show put on by the Munster Branch.

The Munster Branch can be proud of themselves, they put on some show that will only heighten their position as the premier coperate event in the west (if not the whole country). The 1 issue I would have with them was the bar, they didn’t have a clue, there were girls taking orders, going to fellas would would fill pints 1 at a time and then the girls would hand them over, they should have been filling the pints as fast as they could and the girls just handing them out, there was a queue 5 deep at the bar I was it, missed out on a nice few grand extra bar takings I reckon

The All Blacks B team last night, Elton John next year - what “star” will they announce next?!

Don’t mention Elton John, herself wants to go to see him.

They will need to have some kind of star event each year, realistically they can only hope to fill the place 4 times a year, maybe 5 with a home quarter final (3 HEC games and 1 Magners game, prehasp Leinster), although with all the season tickets they have sold they might have sell outs for all the games without bums on seats.
