Yes, an option. If done right can look lovely

Ya. Gives a lovely finish… In saying that I’d say if you rough plastered it it would look deadly even with out seeing what your doing

I painted some sort of thing onto it that they recommended in the paint shop and then painted the wall and it turned out really well. Painted the cement joints white and the wall itself blue. As someone remarked it looks like a puissance wall Eddy Macken would have jumped back in the day. Fella in the paint shop told me it would take three coats but its held up well so far with two

In contrast I painted the timber panel fencing with “ronseal one coat” that was supposed to last ages six months or so ago and its a disgrace already

Good man, this is what I was thinking.

Any thoughts on getting this table semi respectable? Painted it with Fencelife last yr and it washed straight off in the rain.

ps. cat need worming?

Go with a stain as opposed to fence life.
I was commissioned by my wife to build a table recently.
Just used pure basic white deal 9" boards. The ones that were delivered were fairly warped but it’s come out reasonably ok. Used the ronseal stain on it and it came up lovely.

The Ronseal Decking Stain is good stuff, comes in nice colours too. I used it on picket fencing and it came up lovely with 2 coats and after 12 months hasn’t faded a bit

Sand it, 2 coats of Ronseal wood stain, sand again and apply 2 further coats. Use Matt finish woodstain as gloss will blister quickly in the sweltering conditions we anticipate going forward. Fencelife *

  • the clue is on the can…

That’s 3 coats of the ronseal exterior stain. First coat is heavy on it, 2nd coat flies on, then a fine sanding and a final 3rd coat.

You’re handy as a small pot

Making tables is the new thing,

I’d give anything a try. The quality wouldn’t be great, but I enjoy it.

Parallel project of building a chicken coop out of some old fencing is still on going.

Sure pretend you just built it.
Or maybe not. You could be accused of robbing the tax payer

Fire is very common in Hell apparently

Weather shield for wood and metal,no undercoat needed,2 coats, light sanding
