Yea, it’s a pain. Sand it, a bit of painters friend, stain block and perhaps two more coats. It’s in a bad auld spot.

Should have it done by Christmas…

Moisture is right- but it will go back or should
As soon as heat comes back they normally go away

If the bust you’ll have to sand them out and go again
Sorry I didn’t answer earlier

I had to strip a wall last week
Polybond it and 2 coats a few days later- fine now ( block wall underneath)

Good luck

Painters mate isn’t for that( it’s flexible- you’ll only create a lump)
Stain block generally is just for that- blocking stains

@FatChops @Gman @anon67715551 the mother’s HUB has gone mad flashing on and off and she can’t turn on the heating.Taking off the screen and putting it on is apparently a reboot, that’s been done and it’s still flashing.Any ideas?

@FatChops is your man here.

Is this a Hive you’re talking about?

Edit: it’s a Hub :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth:

What does the mobile app say as regards connectivity/pairing status?

Aside from factory reset and re-establishing pairing and Comms on the WiFi you’re limited. That’s what I’d do first off.

If you have a WiFi router app go in there and delete the Hub Mac off it before re-pairing

It is lad thanks for replying, panic over. Obviously it needed to be left off for a while to reboot.Working fine now.

Missing a 4.6mm bleed valve screw nut yoke off one of my radiators. Plumber reckons they are very hard/impossible to get in that size. Can tfk prove the cunt wrong??

Forget about any modern DIY shops.

You need to call to the older stores where invoices are still done by hand. Those encyclopaedias of storemen will sort you

Do you know anybody working in a scrapyard?

Lads any opinions from lads who know about these 2 brands? Need a new shower tap. These look the same. Also any tips on putting them in. Thanks.

Chose either Grohe or Hansgrohe. Regarding putting them in, my top tip would be to call a plumber.
