You’ve a wide selection, look for something that’s UV protected, the cheaper stuff fades badly in sunlight and looks bad, quickly.
If the deck is in poor order the framing won’t be far behind.

TBC I suppose it’s probably 15 years old…few of the decking boards are rotting but by and large it isn’t in bad nick but I’d like to get ahead of it…but the maintenance is an unreal pain in the hole so it’s either composite or take it all out and do the whole back which won’t be cheap either…missus likes the decking

Any opinions on blocking air vents in the house. The house is freezing when its breezy i did change the grills to sliders earlier in the summer. Think ill just block them now.
Would a towel do or should i get insulation?
I looked at mechanical heat exchangers but dont have the budget for that
If you want mould, go ahead and block them.
Thats my fear, is there any other options than blocking them up? As i said i looked into mechanical ventilation but too costly
