Lads. I’m buying a shed. Anyone know much about this stuff? I’ve been told that you’re better off going to a proper shed place but Woodies have the same one for much cheaper. Is the woodies one going to be a heap of shit?
If you want a decent wooden shed go to the lads in the Kinsealy garden centre. I’m very happy with the product.
Thought about it but they are closing down and half their sheds have disappeared. How much was your shed and when?
That’s a shame. I bought a shed that was like a chalet about 3 years ago. It was wired for electricity. I can’t remember the price
That’s out of my league I’m afraid. My choice is a bog standard rustic job from Leinstersheds or the likes of woodies.
It depends on what space you have really. You’d hardly be able to accommodate a steel freight container would you. A fucking great job and loads of them about. You’ll need the room to swing it in however. €200 I gave a lad for one and slung the same again to a mate to locate it. A lifetime job.
Steeltech is the right job if your not too poor.
Yes.
But too poor for a garage.
No room for a garage if your living in a 3 bed semi I’m afraid
Now that’s poor.
Half the Steeltech ones have no floors? They just sit on the grass?
They have floors, and insulation if you want. Expensive though.Domt buy anything in Woddies.Nothing but rubbish in there
Set it on a concrete base. You won’t look back.
exactly this. @Juhniallio get @rocko over for half a day and you’d have the concrete base poured and can have the steel shed on that then.
@anon98850436 has connections in the Fingal garden centre business. Talk to him. Use the code TFKPERSONAL to get 10% off your first purchase.
Make a small foundation for it and fit it onto it…it’s a piece of piss…you also could put a finished floor in after.its only 2 inches of a finished floor
Ah shtop, do you realise who you’re dealing with here?
Can you imagine the cold sweat on @Juhniallio and his mate @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy when the lorry of concrete pulls in. They’d be found hiding below the swamp ffs.
Don’t buy a Timber Shed unless you like varnishing regularly.
A Shanette she’s is the job tbh. Good time of the year to get a good deal too.
And the tracksuit pants tucked into the socks with not a shovel between em.
I wouldnt buy a wooden shed anyway @Juhniallio for exactly the reason harry said. Its an ongoing maintenance job. Next door neighbour has a wooden one for 8 years and the fucking yoke is half rotten
