Falkirk v Inverness Caledonian Thistle - 2015 Scottish Cup Final

With just 5 minutes to go to kick off and so many Scottish football enthusiasts around here, a real lack of discussion and build up to the blue riband football match of the year in Scotland.

Nerves got the better of me. Tucking into a packet of Tunnock’s as we speak. Would be great to see one of these two sides going on to lift the trophy.

Great to see a non old firm final . Same as last year . An Inverness win would be a great fillip for the game in the Highlands. A great family day out and no battle hymns. Atmosphere like a munster final .

Seemingly only the third final in over 100 years without representation from the four largest cities of Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Dundee.

Watkins should have scored there.

Watkins puts ICT 1-0 up

Watkins opens the scoring. Keeper didn’t do great there - came at same angle as the defender.

Houston, we have a problem

The Falkirk strip invokes memories of the 1963 European Cup final at Hampden.

1960 at Hampden or 1963 at Wembley?

Yes , 1960 .

Has to get over that ball for the shot. Terrible effort.

ICT down to 10. Tremarco sees red

Be an interesting last 15 now.

Tremarco got himself in a bit of a muddle there. Not sure why Andy Walker thinks it’s a “daft rule.” I think he hears other people saying that, but they usually only say that if it’s a penalty and a red card. Few people think a professional foul outside the box shouldn’t be a red card.

Why is it called "a professional foul "

At this rate, I’d say Caley Thistle players think they can pick up the ball in their area and they won’t get a pen given against them

We’re level. Peter Grant.

Falkirk level it up through Peter Grant

And there’s the equaliser.
