We’re on the cusp of witnessing the rise of the greatest hurling teams since the Dublin Footballers. It’s only right and proper to celebrate the county and supporters that produced them. This humble thread will honor notable people that contributed to sporting and cultural life in the treaty city and followed their team through thick and thin.
Any contribution should include a little bio of the subject matter in true Limerick style and form.
I’ll start with one of Limerick’s favourite sons, Liam Keane.
