Fantasy Premier League 2009/2010

Wigan vs Villa is gone. At this stage they may as well call the rest of the games off but if United could beat Birmingham today they would go top of the league.

I just bought players in, cost me 12 points, but i’ve a full team almost. I expect Man City to clean sheet it, and i have Tevez, Arshavin and Nasri in to do some damage as well. Big gamble, but a City clean sheet will pay for one, and my team is set up better for next few weeeks then. City and the Gunners have a few winnable games coming.

Have done much the same, not sure whether it genius or stupid. Brought in two Man City players so that game better go ahead or I will be well pissed off.

I did my homework on Manchetser for sunday and monday, monday is to be bright and sunny, with a drop in temp. Local papers expect it to go ahead.

The lad winning the league i’m in with my friends had a savage start and has been averaging ever since. But he never used his wildcard, he has 11 playing the fucker, 9 from United, Man C & Aresnal. Some of the regulars in the big clubs this season are fairly cheap.

The cheap ‘regulars’ from likes of United like fletcher etc are far from guaranteed games though so not worth it imo. Fergie changes his midfield too much to buy any of them. Evra and Rooney about the only two lads playin regularly.

Fletcher has played 16 out of 20 games, 9 in-a-row, only out while injured for 3 games in a row.

He’s great value at 5.6. United have double week next week as well. At home to Burnley and Hull, points all over the gaf.

I take it back. how many points has he?

64

Fuck Arshavin anyway, he’s been useless since just before christmas. He’s gone next week for Fletcher. Need to do it to get Rooney in for double week.

Anyone know what they normally do with re-fixing, or is this weekend unique?

Fools game

With the current conditions, any sort of forward planning on a given gameweek can prove costly. No-one is going to amass huge hauls with 2 games on the card… so sit, save transfers and wait for the haymaker double/triple gameweeks that are approaching…

Bout time for Rosicky…

You can only save tranfers for one week.

Congrats Runt, it’s time for the legbreakers to hang up the boots methinks. It’s mortification stuff at this stage.

Thrawneen managed to get a total of -1 this week. Well done Thrawneen

Thanks Fran. I bought a couple of players last week and clearly none of the rest of my team managed to play at all over the weekend. I wasn’t sure what the fuck I was supposed to do in the face of all those postponements.

Anybody know if any of the EPL games down for the weekend are in doubt?

Not so far but no decisions would be likely until tomorrow at the earliest. Hopefully not, last week was bad enough.

I will postpone any transfer activity until tomorrow evening just to be on the safe side.

Very wise, should be a good chance to pick up points with lots of teams having two games. In theory anyway!

United and Hull are the only ones playing twice. All games expected to go ahead. Weather is just ordinary shite, as opposed to the shite we’ve had recently.

that ignorant post shows what you know. utd, hull, liverpool, spurs, arsenal and bolton all playing twice.
