yeah there is a difficult people here allright but you must also remember that there are people from many differnt countries living in Israel and not all are the same,
The ethnic tensions here between Ashkenazim jews ( jews from Poland/Czech/germany/lithiania. etc) and Mizrachim jews ( morrocan, yemen, iraqi, kurdi, etc) are very bad, and that is even before you factor in thje Russians and the hapless Ethiopians.
The only jews affected by the holocaust were European Ashkenazim jews and because of this they have a certain air of superority in Israel… Holocaust memorial day whilst sad here is only for Ashkenazim, there is no commemorion for the 2.5 million mizrachim jews who were purged from all the Arab countries where in some places like Saudi , Yemen and Iraq it is now a crime to be jewish or Israeli and this has nothing to do with the Palestinan situation as each and every one of the surrounding Arab states despises the Palestinians and are happy to ensue they remain an Israeli problem, FFS the egyptian miliatry are shooting the poor cunts in gaza if they go near the fnce and assad is burning them alive with in syrian refugee camps… the world dosent care tho as its not done by jews
The wife, whilst she would respect holocaust memorial day and stand for the siren is like many other mizrachim where she feels that the ashkenazim are using their own holocaust in a discriminatory fashion against fellow jews… She wont ever set foot in Aushwitz for example, not because she dosent care but because the system here is designed to ensure that she feels it has nothing to do with her.
You see these tensions in the workplace also , business , housing and politics, its very simlar to the catholic / protestant situation in NI during the 80’s.
The country is a mess here, the bizarre thing is that the 20% Arabs here probably get a great deal, if they were citizens of the west bank they would be living in squalor and its almost sometimes impossible to tell the difference between mizrachim jews and arabs, they are fom the same land after all.
recently there was a proposal hand 3 israeli arab cities to the west bank to be under PA control in exchange for settlement land around Hebron, The citizens of Umm al fahm a city with 100% arab population voted >90% to remain part of Israel and live under a jewish government … tells you all you need to know
Fascinating stuff. The mizrachim Jews are the better looking Jews so?

Yes - 100%

Its a pretty bad situation here, when the wife’s dad came to israel from Morocco they were sent to live in tin shacks in the Negev desert outside Be’er Sheva along with the likes of Yossi ben-ayoun’s family and other Mizrachim.
You can tell all the Askenazim classic names leibowitz, stern, finklestein, herschkowitz einstein, goldfarb and Foley, etc… these are all the names associted with the founding of the state and are still in control of banking, housing and are at the head of universties and businesses. This is where the money is.
You wouldnt find too many of these people following Beitar Jeusalem or watching maccabi tel aviv tonight for example. there is not 1 ashkenazim player on the the israeli national football team today, Roony Rosenthal was ashkenazim BTW.
Mizrachim jews generally make up the knacker or “arsim” population simply because they inhabt the working class areas and are in areas with low pospects and poor schools, its always been that way… irononically these are also the section of society that are so racist againts arabs, maybe its becaause they ahave an idientity crises with them and want to seperate themesleves from the arab population… Beitar Jerusalem is the most racist organisation i have ever seen , it fan base is 95% Mizrachim and id say 50% of those walked out when the muslem chechens signed last year…
there is very little mizrachim/ashkenazim inter marriage… you have weird situations like me but herslef is very leftist and is a social worker with very poor people and dosent discriminte… however she and her friends have virtaully no ashkenazim acquaintances, it took her dad a while to swallo it but once i have a beitar season ticket things are fine
its a crazy country, i had pneaminia there before xmas and was in hospital in jerusalem and the arab nurses were asking me about the ra… the same nurse will then give treatment to an orthodox haredim man but they cant walk on the same side of the road outside.
i cant see the place lasting really, the jewish people will survive but this madhouse cant, ill enjoy it while it lasts tho

I’ll have to head over and crash in yours for a week to soak it all up.

All the last few posts serve to point out is that religion is just pointless.

Very informative stuff Mickee

I tell you what chaps, if you haven’t been to Poland, get over here. Eating and drinking like a king all week for nothing. 3 course meal there with 3 pints, 25 Euro. Beer generally is 2-3 euro… Krakow is a cracking city I can’t wait to get back.

I found the Israelis to be horrible cunts altogether whenever I met any. Horrible, insular, aggressive, and mysogynistic. Except for one lad who was sound. Of course they’d all just come off off their military service and were fuckin nuts.

fanatstic mate

@balbec here on the news.

Seems like a bit of a cunt.

All jokes aside that fucker seems like a cunt of the highest order, straight into the faces I’d love to smack.

What did I do now?

@balbec

I will be in Poland in two weekend’s time for the likely meeting of Tyrone and Mayo.

Will I be able to find any bars to watch this in?

Unlikely. But if you are in krakow you can come to my gaffe and watch it. i’ll check if one of the bars in wwa has it.
