FAO Clare folk

Only day’s work those boys ever did was a Denny’s rashers ad.

I was out in Ennis last night.

It seems to be a very rough town relative to similar sized towns. There would also seem to be a big of a drug problem there.

Would my summations be fair?

:joy:
Inoffensive place by day but yeah, incredibly rough by night.
How was the queens anyway?

That might have been the stag @caulifloweredneanderthal was on. Rough sorts alright.

Not there til the bank holiday weekend mate

have a good long think about what you just did.

Plus ca change!

This is a big step down for you. Have a bit of a think about where things go from here.

I have no regrets

you hate to see it

That will eat away away you.

Reads more like a property ad than an article.

The limerick leader is basically reprinting press releases for the last few months

I heard a good story on a podcast recently about priest in West Clare who was refused permission by the local landlord to build a church.

He came up with a plan whereby he built a small Chapel on wheels and he would bring it to the shore and hold mass on the shore when the tide went out. The landlord could do nothing to stop him as its established in law that no one owns the foreshore.

As the numbers at the masses grew the landlord relented and let him build his church and the little Chapel on wheels is still in the church today.
