I think beating Kilkenny was bigger.
Yeah i can see why you would pick that result, but in essence it would have counted for sweet fancy adams if they were beaten by Galway in the Leinster Final. That’s why i would pick that game. They just blew Galway away.
The moment of the year was definitely O’Donovan’s equaliser in the final.
Kilkenny v Waterford was incredible. I’ve rarely been so genuinely emotionally involved and agitated watching a match on television.
The whole year was a joyous movable feast.

The hurling served up in the Cork and Dublin games and in both all ireland finals was a delight.I don’t think Cork are getting their dues for the contribution they made to the hurling championship this year!
I was at the semi and the Leinster Final, both were pretty special but without the final the semi would have meant nothing so you’re spot on there. Was it Sligo that beat Mayo and Galway in recent years and then lost to Roscommon in the final? Means fuck all when you’ve nothing to show for it.
Does anyone know if the date for the Leinster hurling sf likely, though not by any means guaranteed, to be kk vs Galway been set yet, and which venue?
Well its down for the 22nd of June. I would guess Tullamore as that venue was used before when we played KK in Leinster championship.
