Dingle. Not for another couple of weeks

You could go the coast road and avoid Adare altogether either. It depends what time you are passing. Problem is on a Friday evening it’s not just Adare, but NCW & Abbeyfeale as well. If it’s the May bank holiday Friday or something it’ll be a nightmare from early afternoon.

The weekend before. Coastal route is around by Glin and Tarbert? Or what way.

I’m giving it 3 more posts before @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy creates a @Mac’s routes to Dingle thread.

@Mac I’ll be dingle that weekend too. Well if it’s the weekend before punchestown then I will be. I can give you a lift down. You can park the car at my place. Don’t go via adare and don’t stop for food in abbeyfeale either. Head out the the n69 towards foynes etc. go into dingle via the Conor pass too. Stop into Murphy’s on Brandon point on the way. The best pub in the world. Some view driving into dingle that way.

I’ll be cycling over the Conor Pass on the Saturday so I’ll have a good enough view of it then :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Tough cycle. I notice paudie o sheas is open again for food this week.

Drive down via Killarney & don’t mind those Limerick fuckers sending you off by Glin.

You’d be in Dingle quicker going by Adare even at it’s worst, the coast road is hardly worth it? Not exactly a breathtaking drive

Only a fucking dope would take the coast road …

Brandon is not on the way to Dingle. In fact, it’s not on the way to anywhere. Great auld spot though.

You’d be an hour quicker going thd coast road on a friday evening. Sitting in adare or ncw in traffic is hardly scenic either

Coast road is about 20 minutes longer. If the traffic is heavy you’d make that back handy

Fair enough, I’d never consider going that way and I can be on the n69 in a couple of minutes, I’ve never been caught in crazy Adare traffic, 10 or 15 minutes tops

If you haven’t left by now you haven’t a hope of getting there in time.

You could go to NCW via ballingarry.

I did the coast road a few years back heading to Killarney but cut across from Glin and came out far side of Abbeyfeale. Job was oxo. All the folks I know who went through Adare were 15 minutes longer in their journey from town.

You don’t have to drive through Adare by the way @Mac although you might be sitting in traffic by the time you hit the roundabout for the Woodlands

Ah here, the correct route to Killarney is via Charleville & Newmarket

Noble route. I was practically on the N69 so it made sense that day
