I felt like a child on Christmas morning when I woke up and saw the new layout, it was so exciting. what a way to start the weekend, drinking a nutribullet and the new layout

Thanks buddy. I need to work out a way of making it easier to skip the front page on mobile, but the board itself and threads are far easier to read on a small screen now.

Some comments:

  1. This re-design may or may not help the recent speed issues. It certainly won’t harm it. It should make a small difference at a minimum.
  2. Actually that makes no sense. It will help the recent speed issues. It just may not make a material difference. It won’t harm the situation anyway.
  3. Feel free to suggest additional backgrounds if you want. I need large quality images to do so.
  4. If anyone is using a very large resolution on their screen, let me know if the background images are getting cut-off or anything. If they are, then probably Background 1 (the green one) or Background 4 (plain black) might just work for the moment. I can do a repeating image for large resolutions if required.
  5. I can do a Fat version of the skin if needed too for people who prefer the forum to go to close to full screen width on larger resolutions.
  6. If there are any tweaks needed, let me know.
  7. Thanks for all the applause. It makes it all so worthwhile.
  8. If you don’t know what all the background stuff above is about, click on the paintbrush icon on the top right (under alerts) to select your background. It won’t work on mobile so it’s disabled there. It could work on tablets but might take too long to load so I’ve disabled it for tablets currently but that’s reviewable.

Rocko the new skin as you like to call it looks well but if I’m going to be perfectly honest it’s still a bit slow turning pages. At least you’re making the effort to fix the place and trying to oil up the speed mechanism so for that you must be commended. Well done. :clap::clap::clap:
