As for the worst player to ever play for Ireland I would say John O’Shea, can someone name me a game where he has played well? I know O’Dea is shit but he wouldn’t be near the team if all were fit, Mcshane at least had a decent debut and then went down hill from there but O’Shea for a guy that spent years playing against the best teams in Europe and supposedly playing for the best club in Europe and never ever has he ever turned in a decent game for the Republic of Ireland, not fucking once.
Jimmy Quinn and Iain Dowie also made shit of Kernaghan in belfast in 93, we were lucky to get out of there really with that point, Liam Daish was another center half who gave an epic performance vs wales in a friendly in the RDS in 1992 i believe, lets not digress here tho, ill get that thread set up later…

Genuinely, it isn’t. Both were utterly hopeless on Friday night but I never wanted to see O’Shea play for us again after the Euros.

Your a funny fucking retard as well. Cody has managed a team to 4 in a row, he has managed to introduce new players and leave out non performing players, and kept the hunger going, year after year. No other manager has done that and I hate to say this Ferguson as well has done the same. Keeping their teams competing year after year. Unfortunately as a Dublin supporter Gilroy couldn’t do it after winning an All Ireland and this has nothing to do with this thread, it was that retard appendage that brought it up.
Unfortunately as a supporter of the Republic of Ireland Trapatoni has never done it and now he has been found out and the old cunt is hanging onto his paycheck with all the strength he has while managing to drag our team deeper into the shit and at the same time managing to piss off any other player that could play for us, who might add a bit more of a selection on bench or on the team other than McShane. The manager of the Republic of Ireland needs to get as many players as he can involved into the squad give them playing time in friendlies to see how they do and progress them from there. how many players has he managed to piss off that wont come and play for us because of the way he has treated them? Its not like we have a big pool of players to pick from in the first place.
