In terms of Frasier, the performance of Niles in the episode before Daphneā€™s wedding is wonderfully comic. The scene where Daphneā€™s brother (also excellent I thought) answers the door to him and enquires whether he got some sex - initially you think Niles is offended by the bad manners but he changes in a second and starts high fiving the brother, who proceeds to clap him on the back knocking him over.

most of the sharp exchanges between roz and niles were hilarious with both giving as good as they got

The episode where Daphne Does Dinner, Martin is mistaken for the artist of the painting, Frasier ends up cooking dinner without Niles knowing. Just genius. The legendary fuck ups that occurred when Niles and Fraiser tried to host events made for comedy gold.

Loved how he ended Gary in the end, perfection

What a character to throw into the mix.

Watching this on IPTV. Itā€™s a minor classic imho. Quite similar to the Royle Family or Phoenix Nights with Craig Cash from The Royle Family co writing.

There are many in this top 100 list that I never heard of but it reminded me of plenty I had forgotten all about.

I would have Seinfeld at number one.

Heavily American bias. Will be hitting the IptV all the same

You disappointed upwardly mobile didnā€™t make it juhy?

Nah, just disappointed that it doesnā€™t even consider stuff from abroad for most of the top 20. Parks and recreation is great, for example, but itā€™s a mostly a giggle/wry laugh style affair rather than something like fawlty towers which is a perfectly crafted, belly laughing sitcom every episode.
