fuck, that’s a brilliant goal by McCoist,
they should have won the CL that year in it’s inaugural season, remember they were in a group with Marseilles, brugges and someone else and needed to beat Marseilles in the Velodrome to get to the final , The Bernard Tapie inspired Marseilles came out on top

The same player was a victim of one of the worst tackles I’ve ever seen from Aberdeen’s Neil Simpson - 4:38 here - he didn’t play for nearly three years after it.
