There’s some blast of vinegar when you open the bag.

Are salt and vinegar discos on the go still. They were lethal strong.

There is, I’ve to refrain myself from getting them every time I’m in a shop.

I haven’t seen them in years, use to be fond of banshee bones too.

The king of crisps

Meh…

For decent bang for buck these are the play.

These blow the Free State Tayto out of the water. A far better crisp.

The banshee bones went to shit. The flavour was toned way down.

Anyone remember crunchos?

Fuck off I thought it was the opposite way around?

They the hot dog flavoured ones?

Bacon flavoured I think, in a red packet. They were lovely

They’re the boys. Lovely snack

Skips are fucking rotten .
The doritos are a game changer

They were. Loved them myself. Probably too dangerous for folk to eat nowadays. :grinning:

Best thing to come out of Tipp.

Had a big Grà for these as a young fella too, still do if I come across them.

Are Phileas Fogg tortilla chips still made at Medomsley Road, Consett

I haven’t seen them for a long time

But they were very nice

The gold standard in tortilla snacks. Almost like being in Mexico

This is disappointing

Every time I visit the savoury snacks aisle at Tesco in Galway shopping centre I wistfully have a look around to see if I can spot a packet of Phileas Fogg tortilla chips like I used to be able to do years ago

But there is never one there

Decline in the 1990s[edit]

Between the late 1980s and early 1990s, Phileas Fogg Snacks achieved a turnover of more than £30 million. It was subsequently purchased for £24 million by United Biscuits.[1] The four founders left after the sale [1] while United Biscuits made significant changes to the packaging and identity, precipitating a decline in popularity.

2009 relaunch[edit]

United Biscuits relaunched the brand in 2009 after research showed a high number of British consumers were still aware of it.[2] As of 2016 the brand is still sold but is now owned by KP Snacks and consists of an entirely different product range.

Would bacon fries count as crisps?
