Youâve no kids clearly
I do and I would rather go through an airport and rent a car then keep them on a ferry for the bones of a day.
Now, I understand why people may wish to take the ferry, but I would question the need to put huge levels of investment into new ferry routes.
Itâs a great way to get illegal firearms and the like into the country.
If you own a caravan or campervan it can be awfully difficult to fit them into your luggage for a flight
Are you suggesting @StoneCold is a member of the travelling community?
If you own a caravan or campervan and you are not a traveller you are a weirdo

Verona Murphy of the IRHA has her finger on the pulse here. Irish Rail are the de facto port operators and theyâre useless. Proposing to spend 15m on Rosslare over 10 years.
Meanwhile Dublin port are spending 1.5bn on upgrading. Cork and even Foynes are spending multiples of the spend on Rossalre. You couldnât make it up. Does anybody know if Wexford have any active TDâs.
I happened to be chatting to the commercial Director of Rosslare Port over the Xmas holidays. They have massive expansion plans in the pipeline and all the Brexit investment will be a great thing for the Port. New routes to other parts of Europe on the way and 2-3 new Ferry operators coming onboard. Sounds promising but how much of it will happen would be my worry
A TFK exclusive here despite my initial doubts.
Fuck Cork
Weâre too big to fuck
Weâre too big to fuck
youve no brits to bolster your north cork militia anymore. you got nutthin
Massive investment coming into Foynes too over the next few years which will take more freight traffic from Cork. Cork is finished.
Havenât even started kid
North Cork? Ah yes too near Limerick, strange part of the world
Corks problem will be when the port of Cork moves out to Ringaskiddy. Carrs hill is a nightmare at the best of times
