Anyone played this yet?
Just gave it a few minutes there after getting it overnight. Looks quality so far. Not sure the PC is the best format for it but was getting bored of Pro Evo so came along at a nice time.

have both demos for xbox, still deciding which one to get, both look excellent but the clincher will be online play, might have to go to the xbox arcade in town to suss both out

Yeah my Xbox is broken (red ring thing) and haven’t bothered sending it for repair.
PC version is probably a bit underpowered compared to the consoles but does the job so far anyway.

You can play xbox live on PC though can’t you?
yeah, think they do microsoft games for xbox live like halo etc
rocko, send the RROD box back to microsoft and at least get it fixed, you don’t want it running out of warranty, or alternatively if you got in gamestop you can bring it back there

How long does the warranty last? Not sure how long I have the machine.
i think it’s 3 years from the date of registration, but not sure cos they changed things round about 6 months ago
Anyone a Ps3 owner of this that wants to take beating online. 
RROD of death is covered for a long time Rocko, even if your Xbox is over 3 years old they’ll sort it for you, if they won’t you can fix it yourself with a commonly available clamp system, the reason of the RROD of the solder around the processor melting due to overheating (happened to mine).
FIFA is great, but if anyone is looking for it, head to Tesco, €35 thank you very much

They sold out in the Square Tesco when I went up after work as word got out about it. Hmv was the next best price of 45 euros.
Lots of shops are getting another shipment tomorrow or have them in the back cause they haven’t gotten delivery (I know someone who works in Tesco that tipped me off :D)
Fifa 09 was okish for me but Fifa 10 seems to play much better.
Started in manager mode as Barcelona (can start as any team you want). After 15 or so games I mostly had draws with a few 1-0 wins scattered through. I had the team in 4th place and the board gave me the sack. My manager reputation was so bad that only 2 clubs offered me a job-Exeter and Drogheda United. Playing as Exeter now and it’s enjoyable.
Won my first online match as Liverpool against Manchester United. 
Made some rookie mistakes first half taking short kickouts which lead to me going 1.0 down but Babel forced extra time in the 90th minute and Babel again scored near the end of et to win it.
will probably pick this up during the week, got odst yesterday and the cunting thing won’t load, seems like M$ have fucked up again:mad:

PES = Class
although the last few PES have been a bit boring, they seem all so similar, PES could really do with a few more proper team kits etc

I was always a Pro Evo fan but the two previous Ps3 versions have been shit and I played the demo for Pro Evo 10 and I wasnt impressed. Hopefully the final version will be better.
i’m considering buying a blu-ray player for the new gaff, would I be as well to just buy a Ps3? I like to play the odd game but wouldn’t be one to spend hours in front of it.
I like the idea of the online play though.

At 300 euro you cant really cant go wrong. 
Plus you dont have to pay extra like you do for Xbox live.
Similar to that myself shan , the new Fifa is excelllent.
