A woejus attempt says Kerr

Big win for Senegal :clap::clap::clap:

Game over and he’s put the pint down and fucked off without a word.

Is this how other countries react to games finishing. I’m used to it leading to a hape of drink, regardless of result

That second Senegal goal is a disgrace. Terrible refereeing

I was in Poland when they lost to the Czechs to go out of Euro 2012 in the first round and they took it all in their stride and were tremendously philosophical about it.

Jacqui Hurley always looks like she’s wearing a big cape of the sort Homer Simpson wore when he purposely gained weight to get on disability.

“They’ve never been to the World Cup before”, says Eamo about Senegal.

Ah jaysus.

Eamon was preoccupied with Keane while one of the great opening round shocks happened in 2002

Ger Canning’s over in Russia again after his quick skip back to Ennis for the hurling last Sunday.

Just about to post that… What a man. He must have serious rewards built up.

Just knowing Salah is about makes Egypt a different team.

Russia back in big numbers when Egypt get it, making sure not to be caught on break. If anything they are breaking a bit slicker.

Not a lot of chances but I’m quite enjoying this. Surprised at how decent to watch Russia are

Putin expects

Egypt growing into this now. Salah rusty but slowly getting involved.

Brian Kerr had a nice leisurely 260 mile train journey from Nizhny Novgorod where he was yesterday to Moscow where did the Poland v Senegal game today.

I’ve already forgotten who was doing the main commentary on that game. Was it Stephen Alkin?

I think we should get a list of who does the RTE commentary for each game and then tot up the distance each covers during the World Cup.

So, for example this game is:
Russia v Egypt - Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow
Commentators: Ger Canning and Ray Houghton

Does anybody have a list of games played so far.

I know yesterday we had:
Sweden v South Korea - Nizhny Novgorod - Adrian Eames and Brian Kerr

Stephen Alkin did the Argentina v Iceland game in Moscow (Spartak).

Enjoyable half there. No fuck acting, just two very even teams getting on with it
