Uruguay have been horrible to watch so far. They haven’t even pressed really, which they will have to do against the better teams. They’ve just sat in and basically presumed the opposition aren’t going to be good enough to score.
They would look to be better suited to playing bigger teams alright, but if they actually want to score, they’ll have to play with a bit more energy, in both defence and attack. Suarez & Cavani aren’t blessed with massive pace, so you probably have to play the ball into them around the edge of the box.
Hard to see them not reaching a semi final now with the energy they’ve banked.
