If you want to really get into it, I think what Polish football tells us about the nation/people is that they know just slightly too much about life, more than you’d want to. Like there’s experienced but then there’s too experienced. If you remember when Ireland played them in Poland they were the most horrible and cynical I’ve ever seen, worse than any Sputh American team. The other thing you can see is that they’re quite a refined and cultured people.
