Rabiot is as lightweight as they come.

Too much class in the end from France, but they won’t be happy with that.
Never a penalty against Australia and the fact that VAR was used again proves how utterly pointless and useless it is.
Australia were very good, but another moral loss.

The Aussies are an admirable unit. I thought it was a penalty for France. Thought the defender for a slight touch on the ball initially but it doesn’t absolve him when he then caught Griezmann who would have latched onto it anyway. Not sure it was a clear and obvious error and thus VARable though.

And?

You aren’t picking him to do the spade work in a midfield with Kante and Matuidi.

The female pundit on BBC is a source of bemusement to Drogba.

How on earth are the lads arguing this, it was a stone wall penalty?

Definite penalty on the replay I think

I have seen them given.

I think it was a penalty alright but agreed on it being debatable. I think he took the touch on the ball as absolution for tripping Griezmann but he did foul him alright. Was still surprised to see it given after the first denial though.

Peter Collins is great

He really is. An absolute pro.

Griezmann getting the touch after the Australian defender gets the ball is key

He’s a fucking whiny prick. Bitching about the professional foul, it’s the WC you cunt what are you expecting?

I’d say he bates the lard out of his missus.

The rules are simple. It’s just there’s 20 lads coached to break them and trying to con the officials

Hilarious to ask Shay Given about Lloris diving early for a penalty, he fecking guessed every penalty against Spain in 2002 and went the wrong way early for them all.
