Incidentally Spain will be interesting this World Cup. 15 of their squad signed a letter some time back criticising the federation
The 15 were promptly dropped and told to do one until they apologised.
3 have since apologised, the other 12 seem to be out in the cold still. Some are pretty big wheels down the cheese factory when it comes to the womens game.
Be some craic if Spain went on and won it.
I fully support Joanneâs position, if it means Richie Sadlier is called into studio to do the overnight games.

They do realise that. Thatâs why they want as much of it to be on TV as possible and as much hype around it as possible to drum up more interest. They might be banging their head against a brick wall but fair play to them for trying. The only knock on effect of what they want would be more girls playing and more importantly sticking with sport which I presume almost every single person would agree would be a good thing.
