Final ball let Iniesta down in a big way but yea, he had been shaping up well.
Iniesta was shit against the Swiss. Running the ball behind players, not enough movement out of him in the triangles. He was dropped.

Kaka hasnât been anywhere near his standard, neither has Villa. This is about being disappointed in the players.
Villa continually having a poor touch, running offside more than normal and a fair amount of random shooting, although that is indicative of the WC in general. Missed a peno and the goal definitely wasnât the best so far, but nevertheless a very good one.
Kaka running the ball out of play, some shockingly poor short passing, not being able to beat a man like he normally does (bar one or two exceptions).
There was an improvement in Kaka the last day, but heâs still well off his best.
Of course this isnât too uncommon for some of the best players in tournaments to start slowly.
The South Koreans and the Danes will both be dispatching of their second round opponents. The draw has really opened up for bothâŚ
I donât think Kaka or Villa should be in there Kev. Xavi either. None of them have been spectacular so far but they havenât really let anyone down and all have contributed to goals. Theyâve been nowhere near as bad as the likes of Rooney etc. Iniesta has only played once so very early to call it on him.

Correct, USA would have 5 points and England 3. If they they both draw it gets interesting. I think if England draw 2-2 and USA draw 0-0 then they will be level on points, goal difference and goals scored. Apparently they draw lots to decide who goes through!!
