I certainly wasnt mortified,those Aussie players were far from angels themselves,this isnt theatre either its John Delaney scraping the arse of an empty barrell in whats probably just a method of creating a platform for thier next pathetic stunt,sueing FIFA and possibly the French Football Federation for the loss of earnings we will acrue due to not qualifying for the World Cup,give it a Week or so its coming up no doubt,hes a genius this Delaney lad,yere lucky to have him:D

He’s right to laugh. The FAI are a joke organisation and this request to be the 33rd team is the piece de resistance of idiocy.
I laughed at his laughing, then I laughed some more at the begging. I damn near shat meself laughing when I heard that cunt Bono saying that there are some very intelligent people in FIFA, and that maybe they could come up with a solution.

The team and manager have conducted themselves with dignity and great restraint considering what happened, but the rest has just been a comedy show from the get go.
I hope it continues.

Thank you John Delaney for confirming every stereotype about Irish people. The amount of abuse I’ve copped this morning from Aussies and Poms FFS.

There was a calculator on my desk this morning with a post it note attached saying “Essential kit for Irish footballers”.:mad:

A true embarrassment the way this is being conducted. Newspapers are all reporting it as a factual story - i.e. that FIFA are considering our request, it’s only when you listen to Blatter you realise just how seriously they’re treating it.
