Four of Ireland’s most high profile right-wing contrarian “journalists”, of recent decades, perhaps the most four high profile, are Kevin Myers, George Hook, John Waters and Eoghan Harris.
I think I sense a pattern here.
And I haven’t even mentioned you know who, starts with a G. And the other you know who, starts with an E.
It’s probably too much to hope that at some stage maybe such people might take a step back and consider that their sort of worldview is a problem. For them, for their targets, for everybody, really.
