We can explain this one. A body forgot to drain the sump before the crusher. We had the same last year on the Ballysimon Road in Limerick.

I wonder does a fire like that negate all the reduced emissions from recycling in the first place? No stopping one of them bad boys only let it burn out and keep it contained
… and sometimes the petrol tank also. The best one is hiding an acetylene cylinder under the back seat. It gives off a nice bang when it hits the crusher or fragmenter.
The main cause of fires is the slack heap. It gets too big and heats up like a compost heap until it finally ignites. Very hard to put out as it will smoulder away for days.
That’s a bad looking fire there in Ballymun.

I remember that place being built. It’s literally prefab on top of prefab. If it catches fire badly it’ll burn like crazy
