Benched 100kg for the first time yesterday. Gerrup!

I’m on week 3 of a 6 week program and 100 is my target.

Currently at 80.

Great going.
Next goal now should be to bench your own body weight.

Have to say that foam rolling is something I never did till recently. I see huge benefits since I started it.

I did a HIIT session on Saturday. My 2 quads were seized after it. Did a bit of foam rolling Saturday evening and again Sunday and quads were perfect after it.

Also finding benefits to the upper back area from foam rolling.

Has really helped with my S.I issues… I use a hockey ball, sit right in it and get into the glutes… Fantastic relief for a small bit of pain.

I’ve found it brilliant for the upper back especially and in around the hips, though I need to get a firm ball to go to work around there. I’m trying to do a few minutes of rolling followed by a few stretches before bed every night but I end up skipping it more often than not.
