would you give Palace any chance of beating fulham tomorrow night?..while fulham have the better players they can be very disinteested at times…palace will be mad to get a win here as they are brutal on the road since as far back as probably last january…or are they just way out of their depth?..o_O
Draw looks the bet in this game @ 11/5
i was too until i took a lump out of blackburn to beat charlton on saturday…:frowning:

Ah here, go back and look. I locked Orient to romp home with plenty reason and then threw in how the Blackburn one was just greed. Tell me you made money on the O’s???

Palace won’t have a much better chance than against the pensioners but I still wouldn’t touch it. Fulham don’t let in many, they just can’t score. Palace are woefully underskilled at this level imo.

I had a dreadful weekend and have no money (betting allowance that is) to bet during the week. First time since I opened an Aussie account. Few stand outs in the soccer a discussed above as well. Ah well.

I picked them out when they were evens before international break as I had a bit of wedge in my account as I thought they were beginning to come good and would have beaten Wigan if they hadn’t a lad sent off…backed them in a single, double with Forest so disaster all round…

I have stopped using the same result in more than one bet. When you think about it, it’s pretty unnecessary and just increasing the pain when some big shots decide not to turn up

I always thought that too kev but apparently the serious punters in the world will always back single and then double up too…maybe a big hitter like @Mac could confirm…i was all over Bayern and Chelsea to win the European competitions last season in numerous accums and also singles and it paid handsomely…

Huge game tonight in Jerusalem as Beitar play Hapoel TA at 9pm ( local)

This game brings together everything that is wrong and right with Israeli society since the country was founded.

The Ashkenazim / Mizrachim divide is never more polarized than tonight, Hapoel founded by wealthy Russian immigrants with an ultra socialiast kibbutz mindset still today have a predominantly white support of European origion. Hapoel is the team of the labour party who strive to keep Israel lawful, civilized and European controlled

Beitar, who historically represent North African, Iraqi and Persian Mizrachim with the huge chip on their shoulder who still today feel they are second class citizens in the country since they arrived in the 60’s are the biggest ,most supported, most hated and notorious club in the country.

Beitar also have never signed an arab player even tho the supporters of the club are the closest to arabs you will see , Hapoel on the other end have multiple arab footballers but sign very few Mizrachim , yet claim not to discriminate

Tedi in Jerusalem is sold out tonight and has been for a long time, if I was jewish I simply couldn’t support Beitar because of my background but ill tag along tonight anyway with the folks .

With regard to the game, Beitar 15/8, Hapoel 11/8 is a fair representation, Hapoel are stuttering this season and Itai Shecter hasn’t really going since he returned from Swansea, Venezuelan international center half Andres Tunez from Celta Vigo and Ibrahim bangura from bursaspor have steadied beitar and recent results are showing signs of improvement, Beitar simply cannot loose tonight, if they do Jerusalem will be ransacked, im backing them anyway 15/8

Forest are some letdown, usually reasonably priced at home for obvious reason now i can see, let me down at home to boro and now again versus bournemouth at the weekend
that napoli bet is a standout allright

Boom.

You do seem oddly obsessed with betting on the draw in any number of sports.

Draws do happen.

I suppose I’m more on about using one result in multiples. I would often do 4-5 results in CL or HEC and do a small combo of some or all of them. Rarely wins but your pretty covered.

It was more a kinda using Claremont to beat a spread I was sure they would and using it in 3 multiples and they fucking losing or something and taking the whole thing down. That’s what I did a few times and I think in hindsight it was silly, at best.

Palace had drawn none of seven before tonight, Fulham had drawn 1 of 7. Why did you think they’d buck that trend tonight?

Not nearly as often as you seem to think they do.

Forest should stop conceding at such an alarming rate now that Kelvin Wilson is back but until a serious striker comes in it’s gonna be something of a struggle. Cox has gone backwards this season and Henderson, Mackie, are fairly average

no problem
Beitar won 1-0, a night of bedlam, ive never been at an old firm game but if it comes close to last night or better than it must be some event
Beitar got the winner on 85 mins of a keenly contested game
the 15/8 about beitar was really generous given they were at home in this madhouse of a stadium, place was full at 8pm a full hour before KO, and the atmosphere was incredible.

hopefully now we can find a few more winners, the hapoel akko result was good as well at the weekend, long may it continue
if i can find the highlights later ill put them up

Basle 6/4 to win in bucharest tonight is a grand bet
ill need to check teams, the weather, etc before going at it
was very impressed with Basle when they played here in Tel aviv in the qualifiers and against chelsea the other week, Mohommed Salah is a smashing player as well
ill have a a think about this game and report back later
