This thing is coming out on Friday and i find myself contemplating buying it to wile away the evenings over the winter.
Anyone else thinking of doing likewise?
I had one of these games years ago and it was mighty craic. The demo of this years game has been out about a week now and it seems to be getting excellent reviews.
The Total War series is my choice for the winter evenings. My invasion of Scotland is underway and going well, and not an english cunt to be seen in Ireland. Truly I am the king of kings.
Itâs too good to be compared to anything else. Have a look on youtube. Medieval 2 Total War is the one I have now. The latest one is Empire Total War but youâd nearly need a supercomputer to run it smoothly. Rome Total War is probably the best of them, itâs the first one I played. There was a BBC TV series called âTime Commandersâ that was based around it. Watching an episode of that would give you an idea of the battle side of it. The games are massive though, so much detail on every imaginable front.
Thatâs a bit vague, youâll have to give me some of your preferences.
The one thing iâd say is youâre going nowhere without making good training methods for your players and assigning players to these based on their strenghts/weaknesses or positions. Bring in the best of coaches. This area is the first thing i look at when taking over a new clubâŚ
