Football This Weekend

Liverpool 2-0 up here against Everton after a Torres brace.

'Twas a tight enough game with few chances and then Keane set up Torres after about an hour before Torres cracked in a second almost immediately.

The picture cut to the stands and, with half an hour still to play and having just gone 2-0 down at home to their local rivals, there were streams of Everton fans heading for the exits.

Fickle bastards.

Twas a shite game

That Fellaini fella doesn’t have it.
If Saha can realise that he is not, in fact, made of glass then Everton might have a chance of a top 6 finish.

So I take out Torres out of my Fantasy side and he scores twice. Typical!
Adebeyor better score a hatrick.

1-0. Big Jan. Driving run from Sammy who was tackled and Scotty Brown laid the loose ball back to Jan for him to crack it home left footed.

Jan “Fasha” Vennegoor of Hesselink !!!

Can’t see it???

They’ve had a header cleared off the line from a corner and Artur was out quickly to save from Lee Miller after hesitant defending from Loovens. Need to get a grip on this again. Sammy playing well.

Scroll down - it takes a while to load.

Beautiful move there involving dummies, flicks and all sorts and ended with some cunt diving full stretch to block Naka’s shot.

United 0.0 at half time. Dominating with great chances by Ronaldo, Anderson and Ferdimand. Bolton had the best chance though with Muamba. Need to win this or the season is over.

Jaaskalinen keeping bolton in it with some great saves

The link went for about 5 minutes and I got it back to find Aberdeen had equalised.

Ex-Celtic youngster Charlie Mulgrew got it.

Balls.

McGeady on for Maloney. 60 minutes gone.

Fook sake. Mulgrew freekick to make it 2-1. Lovely left footed strike but Artur shouldn’t be getting beaten from there.

Ronaldo at his best there for the win. It was never a penalty but it was the break United needed and Ronaldo put it away and the backheel for Rooneys goal was superb. It was pretty much total domination from United. They had 25 shots on target and were worth the 2 goal margin of victory.
