Who was the first player to score for two different clubs in FA Cup finals?

I was actually going to say Distin before I read down to the answer so I’m giving myself credit for that

Anelka?

I was going to say him too.

Never too far away from being the answer to one of these questions.

Think it might be Ian Wright

Was this Frank Stapleton? Did he do it for Arsenal against United and United against Arsenal?

I said him a few posts up. Negative on Ian

Ah, the first player. Thought it was the only player

I’ll give Stapo, in that he’s the first to score for two different clubs while actually playing for two different clubs.

Arsenal v Manchester United 1979
Manchester United v Brighton 1983

But the real answer is Bert Turner, who scored for both Charlton and Derby in the 1946 final.

Ahh Bert Turner, tip of my tongue.
