Football Trivia

Correct.

Are the others some kind of trick question? I’m completely stumped.

Nope. One wouldn’t be well known while the other is extremely well known to this forum.

And you’re positive that they have an English Premier League winner’s medal as a player, having previously been played for the Manchester United Youth team?

I’m stumped as well, how could a premier league medal winner not be well known, do you not have to play in a few games to get one?
Blackburn had a few players that wouldn’t be household names but every British player to win a medal since would be well known, I know Pique and Pogba were at United but can’t think of other foreigners to fall through the net.

Jon Obi Mikel?

We are talking Premier League era here right?
I don’t think John Obi Mikel played his youth football in England.

Thought he signed for Utd at 16-17 before the transfer saga? It was a pure guess really thinking it may have been a trick question.

Never played a game for Utd and never set foot inside the Youth Academy there.

I’m not even sure if he was a registered United player.

Idiot. Johnny Giles won the First Division.

Jimmy Rimmer is the other one, he came up in a conversation here recently when somebody was mentioning Nigel Spink.
