I think the transfer window brings out the highest levels of footixdom. And I say that as a big Footix.
Fellas acting like it’s their own money
I knew that would happen but I watched a bit of them Sunday night and they would suit Sancho.
That I couldn’t give a fuck about. The IMF will be in the UK next year and all.
A rude awakening for the Footix during the international break, having to cheer on the national team and watch cloggers from Ipswich Town, Bristol City and Glasgow Celtic trying to trap a ball.
Good drinking when the World Cup is on next summer though. Like Tiger Woods, we look at the big picture.
A lot of Footix might skip this week as it’s a long season with the World Cup. Even McIlroy is skipping signature events.
Great fellas can go down to the market without worrying about the 12:30 kickoff
I’ll be down at the Milk Market buying banana bread next weekend now my calendar is clear
Lads on about net spends and wage bill reductions as if they’re the big wig at payroll in some factory in Raheen
What are the match times for world cup
Just catching up on things and reading back through some of the threads. The level of footixing from Paddy over for the past few days is just off the scale. And we are only 2 weeks into a 9 month season. You’d wonder how this pace and intensity can be kept up.
Paddy is more invested in and committed to his English club of choice (invariably Liverpool or Man U) than us English are ourselves.
Mick Footix spends more time focusing on football in North West England than on matters that are within his control
Or as the footix call it in Ireland, just “the north west”. Donegal?
If only we had an all Ireland hurling final to look forward next Sunday.
You’re right about the international break. The best footii are the rooral Irish lads who’ll be on social media bemoaning the fact that United, Pool or whoever aren’t on the box this weekend.
“Feckin’ joke. The season’s barely started & there’s a break for this international football rubbish.”
Or those who claim the international break has come at an opportune time
Would Irish fellas really be that upset if their english franchise went belly up?
I think the international break has come at an opportune time for Celtic actually.
