Not really. I watch Premier League and enjoy it but i find it fascinating how grown men can travel over every 2 weeks to follow a team they picked in school.

What i often find amusing too is why other people care or judge what people do? Who gives a shit if lads go watch games just because it doesnt interest you to do so?
As you may suspect, i fall into that bracket. I go to maybe 5 games a season (8 last year). But i like watching live sport. Maybe I’m an oddball, but honestly, it doesnt bother me. Ive a season ticket for Wexford FC and go to all their games on Friday nights in Ferrycarrig. I go to most Wexford gaa games. I go my clubs championship games. I coach both boys and girls gaa teams. I also coach a girls soccer team. I have gone to lots of european cities to watch soccer games, Madrid, Barca, Munich, Amsterdam amonsht others. I went to the world cup in Germany. I went to America and saw 10 games of differing sports in 10 days over 6 cities. I’ve been to over 20 all ireland finals. Like i said, I’m probably an odd ball, but i like live sport. There is nothing like being at a game and enjoying the atmosphere.
I generally dont get involved in footix like behaviour on here or online. I do find the forced rivalry a bit stupid. The ratoath inn is all i need for my footix fill.
But like i said, why does anyone give a shit or try judge what others do? People have all sorts of hobbies or things they like to do. Live and let live. Unless its rugby that you go watch, then you’re a preper weirdo.

I wouldnt say i wouldnt. Id always be interested in history and whenever I’d go away i like knowing the history of the place amd culture. I wouldnt go out of my way to go to a museum, but id still go of it was on a route.

I can see why you would go to watch different teams, i’ve done it myself. But week in week out over to Manchester or Liverpool is a bit much.
