It’s great not to be picking one cunt liek Hamilton over another cunt in Verstappen.

I’m all on board the Ferrari bandwagon now.

Also love the highlights package and they’re putting on YouTube.

Welcome aboard

Great that more cars are involved this year. Red bull didnt cheat. They took advantage of the safety car and changed tyres…Mercedes should and could have done the same…its done now.

Listen to this Cunt of a man….

“ are you serious “ says Damon

See I’m inclined to agree with this. Hamilton gets a 10 second penalty at one stage after he shunted Verstappen out of a race and then Hamilton isn’t penalised for the shite at the start in Abu Dhabi. But these things can happen which is why, to me, Mercedes come off as a crowd of cunts for going ballistic when Masi allows the lapped cars to pass Hamilton at the end. Guaranteed if the shoe was on the other foot Wolff would have been going off his head at Masi to let them pass.

Can you not look at this objectively?

Hamilton bad for hitting Verstappen?

All season long Verstappen overtook opponents putting his car in positions where if the opponent didn’t brake or leave the track there was going to be a collision.
You have an issue with Lewis preventing a collision when he knows if both go off the championship is gone? Max knew this and putting the car in a place he knew he couldn’t come out worst.

His driving at the Brazil race was dangerous too but no action was taken. He pushed Hamilton off track and weaved on the straights which is illegal.

He was penalised for gaining advantages rightfully for gaining advantages off the track in other races & rightfully so.

At Monza he caused a totally avoidable crash too.

Max is a serious talent, won, lead and had pole for more races than Lewis but still the Championship came down to the final race.
If Max can find that fine line where being aggressive vs picking up points then he’ll be a far more rounded driver imo.

Toto is a cunt but no worse than Horner imo.

I thought I was.

I never cleared Verstappen of being a cunt and driving dangerously. I just said that Hamilton also acted the cunt but was treated a lot more leniently.

Comparison?

Lewis went for the place in Silverstone, he was up beside Max and max pulled into him to make the corner.
Most feel Lewis shouldn’t have gone for the move which i would agree with but, Max made contact with Lewis. Not the other way round.

Can I see why I’m confused as to your reasoning?

Throughout the season Max was by far & away more aggressive in his style as you can clearly see from the Monza incident.

In the final race, safety car protocol was ignored. That was completely wrong.

Look at last weekends race, that was how you let lapped cars through.

Hamilton understeered into Verstappen at Copse and missed the apex, it was 100% his fault and caused a massive crash for Verstappen. Verstappen had left loads of space for Hamilton. That move was complete dirt. You’d swear Hamilton wasn’t the wild boy of F1 for years, he knows how to play dirty.

Verstappen clearly went over the line towards the end of the season at times and Jeddah was a disgraceful race for both of them but mostly Max.

The whole season got out of hand for a finish, Masi had lost control long before Abu Dhabi and that is reflected in how the new race director has approached things. Clear rules have been set out, penalties will be harsher and applied much quicker. You saw that with Ocon the last day. Track limits are clearly defined for every track for the entire season also finally.

Indeed but I can’t see why people are blaming Verstappen and Red Bull for this. Also if Hamilton had pitted like Verstappen he would have been ok.

I might be missing something but is this not what Hamilton did at the beginning of the race in Abu Dhabi.

I’m obviously no expert and I’m just saying how it looks to a lay person like me that doesn’t have a foot in either camp.

Waffle. If he pitted he would have lost track position with a clear problem being the race was looking like ending under the safety car.

Verstappen braked so late he couldn’t make the apex.

Hamilton tried to overtake Verstappen at Silverstone.

Did Verstappen not take that risk though? Surely if Lewis went in first he knew he’d would have forced Verstappen to stay out or follow him in and stay behind him with the same tyres on both cars.

It was a free stop under a safety car. Lewis loses tracks position doing likewise

OK but the point I’m making is that the following were the options available to Hamilton:

  • he stops and Verstappen doesn’t then he has the tyres and Verstappen doesn’t. Basically putting them in the reverse position to what really happened. He finishes ahead, wins the championship
  • they both stop, he gets out in front of Verstappen. He finishes ahead, wins the championship
  • Verstappen stop and Hamilton doesn’t. Leaves an advantage for Verstappen if the FIA do something odd. And am I wrong in saying that Masi told the teams he wanted a racing end to the season?

I get what you’re saying but Mercedes played the probabilities hence why Toto reacted like he did.

Pressure from Horner & Weathly alongside sheer incompetence from Masi caused the finale to play out as it did.

Hamilton has had plenty of success & it was good to see fresh blood at the top but not like that.

Best way I could describe the finish was how Meath beat Louth. It was so wrong it was unbelievable

I get what you’re saying. Should Hamilton not have given the place back at the start of the race in Abu Dhabi though?

Personally Id love to see Ocon, Leclerc, Sainz, Ricciardo and Gasly finish ahead of those two.
