Gignac is really shit.
Sssoko has looked considerably better than Pogba, Matuidi and Payet over the last two games. I don’t rate Matuidi that highly though.
I was saying offline that Gignac was a lumbering donkey but he did Pepe up like a kipper. Poor connection but I thought the keeper narrowed the angle very well and he didn’t have much to aim at.
Something tells me karma is on Portugal’s side here. Sort of a Chelsea-Bayern Munich-type situation.

Sissoko was an absolute disgrace last season but he’s bossed this. I do rate Matuidi very highly though, his work rate is unbelievable and he makes clever runs. Hasn’t really set it alight here but he has more of a defensive role tonight.
At 29, I won’t be too worried if Manchester United blow a shit load of money on Matuidi.
