Have you not? Surprising as Murphy has played for one of the biggest clubs in the world, a club who has lifted the biggest trophy in European club football. Long has made his name playing for provincial league teams in England, if Long had a brain he might be a good footballer but he is the most stupid footballer I have ever witnessed. His performance in the crunch game against Sweden in the last campaign was the worst I have witnessed first hand by a pro footballer.
Murphy has his limitations like all the Irish squad but he is by far the form Irish player of the past season and he bullied Chris Smalling last Sunday against England.

I think heās a better centre half than a midfielder but he would be extremely rusty in that position now, think the last time I can remember him there was in the CL qualifier against Legia where he had a shocker.
