Was out for a few drinks last night. Started lashing rain so I set up camp for a while. Was with an old manager of mine. Interesting conversations about where the money is now and what jobs are decent. Somehow Freemasons gets dropped into the conversation. We used to work near the Lodge in London so maybe that was how. Anyway he says his āfriendā is one. I couldnt get him to stop talking about it. He reckoned our old office was full of them. At this stage I kind of twigged it so I asked him when did he join. He started laughing about it and said he cant talk about it. He was on about if you truly want a good job and to make money that the Freemasons was the way to go. He reckoned lots of high up people in companies etc are Masons - Tony Blair, footballers etc and its worldwide.
Now all I know about them is a bit from Wiki and the Da Vinci Code. Anyone have anything further to add? Iām not thinking of joining by the way but thats certaintly what my old manager last night was hinting at.

I worked in a place that had lots of Mormons, those boys were recruiting and promoting their own lads at a fierce rate, theyāre an awful unfunny crowd.
Indeed there was a thread called āSecret Societiesā which i set up ages ago. I had watched an interesting documentary about it which claimed all the presidents of America came from one of these societies. Bandage promised us heād drop into their Dublin base to investigate but shit himself when the time came.
