Can those in the know please suggest a suitable jean for the mid 30’s man.

Is there a happy place somewhere between those miserable badly fed fuckers in a skinny jean and those bulging roasters in a boot cut jean?

Suggestions please and I would be grateful if you would include a brand along with a specific style/model.
Slimmy jeans from 7 for All Mankind. Comfy as fuck and a great fit. Think they have an outlet in Kildare Village.

“The Ronnie and The Chad. Both give a masculine low rise and roomier top block.” :clap:

Nudie is my jean brand of choice, pal. Slim Jim is a regular fit bordering on slim and Grim Tim is the first of their slim offerings. Both are very stylish indeed and should more than meet your requirements.

Claret red round neck cotton jumper and straight cut dark blue jeans with a pair of navy Cruyff trainers.

Navy Lacoste kicks, dark blue Diesel jeans and a navy polo neck t-shirt with fairly tight arms to accentuate by ever-growing biceps.

design your own superstars lads

we can then choose a favourite and deem it a winner with a winner rating
Levi’s or Nudie are my jeans brands of choice mate. Slim fit (that’d be 511 in Levis) rather than skinny should be the aim.

Also, did you know that if you buy top quality denim you’re not supposed to wash it?
Excellent call. I have three pairs in varying colours. Superb fit and quite forgiving for a relatively tight fit.

I also have three pairs. The varying types of denim keep them different too. Currently wearing a dark wash denim pair (slightly turned up at the ends, black leather cons, white tshirt, sky blue all saints shirt with the sleeves turned up my elbows), I have a grey pair in very soft denim that are incredibly comfortable.

@Kinvara’s Passion

@glasagusban is correct

Nudie Jeans in the Grim Tim style are what you need

Later on get some raw selvage and don’t wash them

Hmm… I have a serious set of sculpted thighs… I reckon the grim tim might be a tight fit in this region.

you might need a Slim Jim then

Thinking of launching my own clothing line called Nembo Kicks.

available in all colours except orange!..

Only available in nero.

I have massive, bulging but lean thighs from all my post-hip surgery work but Grim Tim still fits like a glove.

Purchased this jacket today. It said its Spring/Summer collection but it’s actually a wee bit warmer so should suit when I’m strolling down for a pint in the normal climate bar the few days/nights we might get around August.
I’d like to get a few pairs of shorts now for the end of March where I start to wear shorts on a casual basis. My legs would be the best part of my body and I like to show them off, I have really lean, defined, muscular legs - quite similar to Gianluca Zambrotta in structure and size. I generally like to wear tennis shorts as they are comfortabl, airy and look good but sometimes I feel they can cover my quads up a little too much.

Any suggestions?
Hi Il Bomber,

Good call on shorts season, kitted out my shorts wardrobe when I read your post, delighted I did as I got to show off my sexy legs today in the lovely sunshine.

What kind of shorts did you go for? I wouldn’t be a fan of chino shorts, sports shorts or baggy below the knee type things that irish roasters wear.

Was wearing a black pair of Nike Tennis shorts with a white trim today.
