Oi! No shoes on the bed!!
Good advice as ever BT.
@TheUlteriorMotive, there is way too much going on on that coat.
@KinvarasPassion, I’d just about sneak out over that long coat rule of thumb, but good point to take on board.
@ironmoth, what the fuck were you doing with the jeans? I have three pairs and they’re very hard wearing. In fact most of them are designed to get well worn so they become unique to you. Don’t wash them or anything.
Aire, that’s the old line they trot out alright - “no need to wash them”. That’s right. Even if they get a bit sweaty around the ball area, DO NOT wash them. Unless you fancy a nasty staph infection (and possibly a ‘staff’ infection to boot), it might be worth throwing them in for the odd rinse.
Do you wear jocks at all?
Jesus pal - you really bring this on yourself…
You’re one sick motherfucker! Do I wear jocks at all?!?! Why don’t you come straight out and set up a thread called “TFK members - post pictures of your cock and balls here”?
*wearing jocks will not prevent a staph infection on your legs.
If you wash yourself you shouldn’t be carrying around staph bacteria mate
True - but your Nudies might be deadly!
If you really want to avoid washing them, you could stick them in the freezer overnight (which Levis recently recommended in some fucked-up water conservation effort). It most likely won’t kill the Staphylococcus bacteria living on your unwashed jeans though.
Best of luck either way glas - I’ve heard it can be tough managing a balance between personal hygiene and what the blogs say to do with your jeans. First world problems, eh?
Thanks Joe.
I learnt this the hard way.
Bought a smashing racing coat, but after a couple of wears I realised it looked a bit silly.
Just too long.
I have a lovely Crombie funeral coat that I can just about carrry off. Just.
Inherited from my grandfather too.
“how was the funeral”
“I didn’t know you were an under taker” etc etc
That’s what people said to me when I wore my lovely new coat.
@briantinnion, @glasagusban, @TheUlteriorMotive, @Tassotti & other TFK fashionistas - I think the wool / woolly jumper look complements my skinny jeans and neatly trimmed beard style. But I failed to purchase any decent knitted/woolly tops when I went into town today. Here’s an example of such a jumper I own: http://www.nudiejeans.com/shop/vladimir-neps-blue/p/3853
But I think I only paid €50 for it at the time. I don’t really want to pay more than that for a simple knitted / wool top. But all I saw today was Armani €240, Select €150 and so on.
Could you guys please link to smart looking jumpers costing no more than €60?
Uniqlo
Massimo Duti
Zara
Are options.
First two for value cashmere especially but you will get merino in them for 30 or 40 euro. Nice stuff.
Wait for sale and pick up John Smedley merino wool is my recommendation or ask for it as a pres t. Slim fit. V neck or maybe roll neck. Sorted. Pick up for 140 euro or less on sale

Thanks, @TheUlteriorMotive. I was a bit disappointed by my Massimo Dutti experience today - @briantinnion had promised a lot but the tops didn’t capture my imagination. That John Smedley one you linked to costs GBP£139, which is too expensive. I didn’t want to go across to Zara on the northside and I don’t know what stores stock Uniqlo.
