@ironmoth, Clarks desert boots are classic and are probably exactly what you’re looking for. Not suede though. The second pair of boots you posted are very nice and great value, but are maybe a little dressy for casual wear unless you are going to a nice restaurant with your significant other.

If all your clothes are navy, grey, olive, khaki you wo5 go too far wrong. Buy block colour t shirts so no stripes. Gap slim fit t shirts are great Especially grey ones

25 or so for me I think. I’ll dig out the pair from home this weekend, pretty sure there’s at least one pair of tan and one pair of black dumped down the back of a closet with a few duffle coats and blanket jackets yokes from the 90’s.
@TheUlteriorMotive - do Uniqlo ship to Ireland or do you use Parcel Motel? I’m a massive fan of their gear and pick up a load of it whenever I’m visiting NYC. Was no aware of the online option which could be a game changer for me.
